A Living Tradition
At our Cẩm Giang workshop, time moves differently. Here, skilled hands guided by master craftspeople—many trained in the exacting traditions of Japanese kimono embroidery—dedicate themselves to the meticulous art of textile creation. Each piece requires weeks, sometimes months, of patient work. Every stitch, every painted detail, every carefully chosen thread represents hours of focused attention, of love made manifest.
We source our materials with the same reverence we bring to their creation—each fiber selected not for convenience but for its inherent beauty and connection to Vietnamese soil. Whenever possible, we select fabrics woven from natural fibres: wild cotton, linen, and hemp cultivated and loomed by ethnic communities in Vietnam’s northern highlands and the Central Highlands. Our tussah silks are woven in Ha Dong village, renowned for centuries as the cradle of silk artistry. Even when modern looms are used, we insist on working only with fabrics of pure natural origin.
